Alex Terry

Alex (Buzz) Terry, 74, of Lubbock, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. He was born May 5, 1949 in Lubbock, TX to James and Esta (Hitchcock) Terry. He was a retired jet engine mechanic for the U.S. Civil Service and Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed spending time with family, playing the guitar, working on cars, riding motorcycles, fishing, and time in the mountains when possible. He will be remembered by his kind, generous heart and love for everyone. Those left to cherish his memory are his children Colby Terry and wife, Misty of Lubbock, Brandon Brock of Clarendon, and Amanda Terry of Lubbock; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings, Arvetta Hall and husband Dewey of O'Donnell, Vicky Conway and husband David of Lubbock, Debbie Bonat of Lubbock, and Buddy Terry and wife Gwen of Corpus Christi; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.



Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels in Lubbock.
